Opening Schools Facilities
Over £10 million has been provided by the Department for Education which will support schools across the UK to deliver extra-curricular activities and open their facilities outside of the school day during evenings, weekends and school holidays.
Active Suffolk secured a share of this funding via Sport England, allowing us to work to understand the challenges school face when opening their facilities, and support others to invest in equipment which will allow them to expand their current physical activity offering to pupils and the local community.
